What is ErgCoach?
A training platform that organizes supported workout evidence, deterministic analysis, progress, structured recommendations, and optional explanations.
Which Concept2 machines are supported?
The profile can record access to RowErg, BikeErg, and SkiErg, and supported workout records identify their machine type. Actual metrics depend on the imported or recorded evidence.
Does ErgCoach replace a coach or doctor?
No. It provides training information and non-diagnostic safety states; it does not provide medical clearance or emergency monitoring.
Does AI choose or calculate my workout?
Deterministic services select and calculate the structured record. AI explanation is optional and cannot change it.
Do I have to share health information?
No. Relevant fields are optional and consent-gated. Some features cannot store or use that context without consent.
Do I have to perform a maximal 2,000 m test?
No. The assessment service can recommend other supported protocols or a passive baseline, subject to available evidence and safety state.
Can ErgCoach program or control my PM5?
No verified production programming or control is currently offered. Mobile observation is passive.
Will a PM5 workout always appear in Concept2 Logbook?
No such promise is made. Normal PM5 recording and Concept2 behavior, plus cross-source matching, require compatible setup and remain subject to device and provider behavior.
Can I export workouts?
The API can provide CSV when normalized samples or splits exist. TCX and FIT are unavailable. Client download availability is stated per platform.
Are projections guarantees?
No. They are deterministic estimates with ranges, confidence, assumptions and missing reasons.
Is camera technique coaching available?
No. The prototype is experimental, disabled by default, and blocked from general release pending runtime and physical validation.
Is there an Apple Watch app?
Software workflows exist, but public store availability and physical acceptance are not published. This is not a claim that a downloadable app is available.
What happens when I disconnect Concept2?
Future sync stops and stored access credentials are cleared; already imported ErgCoach workouts remain.
How much does ErgCoach cost?
Pricing and paid-plan terms have not been published. Web registration being open is not a promise of a permanent free tier.
How do I recover my account?
Use the Sign in link to open the product application, where its existing confirmation and password-recovery options are available. This commercial site does not reproduce those forms.
